The Briefing Room
Mike and Colleen Buckwalter are dedicated to revitalizing Morrison, one project at a time. With a passion for preserving history while creating modern spaces, they have transformed an old building into a stunning new event venue—perfect for parties, get-togethers, and community gatherings.
Beginning in 2019 they took their expertise to start flipping houses, blending character with contemporary design to make Morrison a more vibrant and welcoming place to live. They saw a need for an event venue and began work on The Briefing Room in 2024. The Briefing Room is appropriately named as it was a Law Office for a number of years before its most recent transformation. From historic renovations to fresh, functional spaces, the Buckwalters are committed to improving their hometown and creating a bright future for its residents.
